Range Extender Battery

When attached to any Ribble e-bike the MAHLE range extender supplements the main battery, boosting the total battery capacity to a whopping 456Wh. This equates to an extra 70% of range, allowing you to extend your rides for longer and travel further in search of adventure. The extender works in two ways. Firstly, when connected to the e-bike system the first two amps of power are provided by the range extender. Meaning the main battery is discharged much more slowly. It also acts like a power bank and will actually charge the main battery when demand is at its lowest; while descending or above the 25km threshold when all assistance ceases.

No power socket at hand to charge your e-bike? No problem. Simply charge up your extender at a convenient power point, plug it in and go.
