The internal brass nut failed, should be stainless

Clever product but short lifespan
The seat clamp is clever as it clamps to frame and seat post separately. Unfortunately I had to buy this replacement as last one failed with threading giving way. I use a torque wrench so shouldn't have happened. Usually I move my seat to service my bike on a stand, now not so comfortable given quality of this product... Ribble provided free as under warranty so thumbs up to them.

Great twin bolt seat post clamp - shame about the bolts
Good value twin bolt seat post clamp. Clamp is well made, but don't undo them and register more than a couple of times as the thread just wears away. Sadly no other alternatives for my seat post and frame, so it's a good job they are fairly cheap. I replace mine every year, if not twice per year.

Only lasts for a short period of time
The clamp when fitted does a good job, but if like me you like to maintain your bike regularly which requires removing the seat post to apply carbon paste, the screw threads wear away and spin freely, even though I don't torque the bolts to their limits. Would be great if you could buy ones with harder wearing screws and threads as I'm having to buy a couple every year. Only negative on the whole Ribble Sportive bike!

Disappointed seat clamp
Just 3 days ago delivery, now setting it properly and it didn't hold the seat post, the bottom bolt was loose when I check it again... I took them off and the thread on the inside of the bottom bolt hole (best way to describe it), had become loose??. The entire bottom bolt had fallen out?? (a sort of swarf on the thread...), so it's thread was unable to grip onto the clamp. I am buying a new one now, sad
