DURABILITY &
COMFORT

The CGR SL frameset is manufactured from a carefully selected blend of Toray’s T1000 and T800 carbon. Layered to an exacting specification using an advanced monocoque mould technology incorporating an EPS inner core system which ensures complete consistency of the structural integrity of the fibres and resin throughout the frame.

This system also eliminates excess material on the inside of the frame. The profiles and shapes designed into the frame are all there for a specific performance reason, from the truncated aerofoil down tube enhancing aerodynamic advantage and torsional stiffness to the seat stays designed for vertical compliance and vibration absorption. This frame is the epitome of design and attention to detail.

Kevin A.
This bike cruises. Carbon frame. Carbon fork. Carbon seat post. You can tell that dropping grams has been the focus of every component. Beautiful ride that loves to just up and go.

Received my bike in the U.S. 7 days after shipping from U.K. and was able to assemble in about 20 minutes.

Can't wait to add mile AND miles.
Stu-Con
Fantastic bike - well built and great looking. Everything I expected and more. Really great ride, light, nimble and fast but very comfortable on the 40mm tyres.

Unfortunately the whole experience was somewhat soured by the whole buying process. I understand the restrictions caused by Covid-19, but allowing for that, and the subsequent spike in demand, Ribble were simply not geared up for it and continued to push their product marketing without the necessary customer support.

Despite all of that, I’m still giving 5 stars because the bike was worth the wait and allows me to forget the bad buying experience.
Would definitely recommend.

It’s rare to get back from an event and to think that there’s nothing you’d change about your set-up but I can honestly say, if I were to return to South Africa for the 2020 Rainmaker RollerCoaster, there’s nothing I’d tweak.
