Prolite Pair Wheels Garda Clincher
The Prolite Garda is a robust, smooth rolling wheel that can provide the longevity of a training wheel with the heart of a racing wheel.
- A classic setup of a low profile pinned rim laced to a cartridge bearing hub.
- The Garda uses two types of bearings in it's rear hub. Two cartridge bearings complement two high quality cup and cone bearings.
- Replaceable ball bearings offer incredible longevity and impressive smoothness whilst the cartridge bearings offer easy replacement.
- Together all four bearings provide a stable feel and improve power transfer.
- The front hub offers two sealed bearings
- The low profile alloy rim of the Garda offer the perfect mix of low rotational mass and strength.
- Weight: Front - 925g, Rear - 1220g (weights are given with rim tape but no skewers)

Great wheels - period!I bought these wheels yesterday and had them delivered today.
For £99 i was expecting them to be a bit chokey and well, worth the £99. Normally im riding on wheels that cost a bit more so my expectation was very low.
What an absolute suprise i got when i got onto the road with these wheels. I took them on a 50km commute test over some of Glasgows most horrendous roads and they were a joy to ride. There is a bit of flex there but it actually made them really comfortable on the arms and legs.
Forgetting the aesthetics, they ride wonderfully. I was expecting a much rougher ride and they just took a lot of the buzz out the road for me.
Ive got wheels that ive paid over a thousand pound for and they are in a different league but not that different - thats how impressed i was.
Im looking forward to starting my new job in 3 weeks even more now that i have these wheels to ride on everyday.
I rekon they are great winter training wheels or commuting wheels. Obviously i need to spend a bit more time on them but at the moment im impressed. Well done pro lite -
Winter wheelsOnly had them a couple of day but seam to be good wheels roll well only done 58 miles.

Better than I expectedThese wheels came with my sportive 365 2 years ago and didn't expect them to be anything special. I've easily cleared 11,000 miles on them and never needed to give them any attention accept for re greasing the bearings which wasn't even needed. I would easily recommend them as I've had to replace the wheels on my second bike over the same length of time.

- Hi, What width are the rims? I know the depth is 30mm. Are they 23c?

The internal rim measurement is 14.8mm and the external is 21mm

It is possible to fit a 10 speed cassette to these wheels however you will need a spacer behind the cassette.
