Cyclesport North (trading as Ribble Cycles) is a registered company in the UK, and has been trading since 1978. We comply fully with UK law relating to mail order companies and distance selling regulations. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal, and we welcome your feedback if we fail to meet your expectations in any way. Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery schedule and Shipping costs
UK delivery time is stated at 2-4 working days, although we always aim to get products to you as quickly as possible. Next day delivery is available on UK orders placed before 2pm. There are a range of worldwide delivery options available and schedules very depending on the destination. For non-EU customers there may be customs/import duties to pay depending on the value of the goods – these are the responsibility of the customer. Please note there are restrictions on all shipping types, for full details please see our delivery page.
Delivery for bicycles takes longer due to our range of bicycles being custom built. Please contact the Sales Office for current build times.
Please note that no collections are made by our mailing partner on Bank Holidays, and so this may impact your delivery time if selecting a priority shipping service.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by e-mail (or by other means if no e-mail address has been provided) and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to cancel your order.
Orders that are placed by yourself at Ribble Cycles will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods and we have the right to reject such offers at any time. Any automated acknowledgement of your order received from us does not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods on the website. The contract between ourselves, Ribble Cycles and the buyer is concluded when we (i) take payment or (ii) dispatch the goods, whichever is the later.
Any items sold on the website are not for re-sale or distribution. We reserve the right to limit the number of products that you may select to purchase. We reserve the right to cancel orders where we believe products are being ordered that are in breach of this provision.
Amending or cancelling orders
Whilst we appreciate you may change your mind about an order, we are unable to edit or cancel orders that are placed with us once we have started processing them. If the order is showing in your account as ‘Pending’ please contact our Sales Department to see if we are able to assist in your request to cancel.
If your order however is regarding one of our custom built bicycles, please contact our Sales Department as soon as possible (+44)01772 338727 to see if we can make the required changes to the bicycles before it is built by our mechanics.
While we want you to be happy with your purchase, we understand that sometimes you need to return items. You can return your order or parts of your order for a refund or exchange in line with our returns policy.
By default all prices on our site are in Pounds Sterling (£GBP) and include VAT where applicable at the standard UK rate of 20%. Purchases made from outside of the EU are VAT free. We offer the ability to pay in selected currencies (£GBP, $USD, $AUD, $CAD, $NZD, €EUR, ¥YEN) – any purchases made in a currency outside of these will be charged in Pounds Sterling (£GBP) and converted to your currency by your credit card company. When placing an order the order will be charged in the currency of the billing address (where available) but if the delivery address is within the EU then VAT will be chargeable. To avoid delays please ensure the billing address and delivery address are correct at the time of purchase.
It is our aim to keep all pictures and descriptions as up to date and accurate as possible, however there may be occasions where these details are incorrect. This is due, in part, to receiving incorrect or limited information from the manufacturers/suppliers. Where a weight is stipulated, this is provided by the manufacturer and we cannot guarantee its accuracy. In the instance where we supply a product different to that advertised we will happily refund or exchange the item for you.
Custom Colour Program
Our CustomColour program gives you complete control over your bike design. Choose from our wide range of colour options for a flat colour finish, or choose from one of our ‘fade’ designs for something a bit more unique. You can also control the colour of your Ribble logos and decals. All of our CustomColour frames are hand painted in the UK.
Your CustomColour bike will be ready for collection or delivery within just 21 days from order (normal T&Cs apply).
Please note that due to the customised nature of a CustomColour frame, these bikes are excluded from our 30 day test-ride return offer.

Offers - Terms and Conditions
- The price listed in your basket will always be the final sale price.
- All prices and descriptions are liable to change without notice.
- The delivery charge listed in your basket will always be the final delivery charge.
- Should you forget to apply the discount code in your basket we will not add discounts retrospectively.
- Promotional Vouchers. Only one voucher can be used against one product i.e. a number of vouchers cannot be added together and used against a single product.
- Items which have been purchased in part or full with a promotional voucher will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
